I was immediately struck by the peppery spice on the first sip and the subsequent fruity and woodsy flavor that followed. I thought the flavor pleasantly mellowed out for the finish. The only dilemma is that we only had one bottle. At $12 a bottle, I plan to stock up.

Some decisions are difficult. What to open to accompany Mary's perfect spaghetti and meatball dinner was the decision we faced last night. We decided to open a bottle of Erc
